The data centre housing the 123host server has advised the following
To address some network instability issues on a border switch device in our network we are replacing a switch in this window. Services in Sydney will see brief disruption in this window (expected to be under 10 minutes) while physical ports are moved from the problematic device to the replacement unit.
Unfortunately a recent configuration change to address the stability issues did not completely resolve periodic restarts so this step is being taken to hopefully resolve that problem fully.
Translation: Between 0630 and 0730 Sydney time on Thursday November 26th, the server is going to be offline for less than 10 minutes. This will affect web sites and the ability to send and receive emails via the server. Emails sent to you during the disruption will be delayed by about 15 minutes - email systems are designed to handle something like this.
Please understand that this isn't a problem with the 123host server, it is the connection between the data centre and the world.
