Think of having a webmail box in the same terms as having a mailbox at your house.
- All your mail is delivered there.
- You have to go get it yourself
- You have to sort it yourself
An easier and more popular alternative is mail forwarders but they can cause problems,
Some people do need a mailbox so read on.
Start off by logging into cpanel.
Your login details are in the welcome email you should have received. If you can't find it, lodge a support ticket and it will be resent.

Don't be intimidated by all the offerings in cpanel, it can be overwhelming. Also be careful, you could break the internet...well, maybe just your website...no kidding.
You are looking for the Mail section and particularly the Email Accounts icon - click it
Click Create
Now to set it up
Username is the email address you want e.g. hello@ or info@ or whatever.
Choose the domain (if you have more than one) and enter a password - you will be prompted to set one of adequate strength. If you have trouble creating a tough password you can have the system generate one for you - it will be ugly.
If you are setting up email for someone else and you would like them to choose their own password, select Provide alternate email and enter their existing email address. They will be sent a link to create their own password.
If it is your own mailbox you would likely want to leave the quota set to unlimited.
Click create at the bottom.
Now you are ready to receive email.
There are several ways to read it.
You can read it in your own webmail or in gmail.
Or you can set up your mail client (Outlook, Mac Mail, etc). The settings are available by clicking on Connect Devices.
That should get you going.
